TREASURED MEMORIES FROM ROUNDHOUSE ALUMNI

2006 – 2016

Since 2006, over 30,000 young people aged 11-25 have been inspired by thousands of music, performing arts, circus and media projects at the Roundhouse.

On our 10th anniversary we asked some of our alumni to tell us their favourite memories. This gallery shares some of their stories…

"Performing on the main stage with Circolombia in the first ever Circusfest, dancing and clapping along with an audience of a thousand young people - it was an amazing experience".

"Being part of the Glastonbury Festival Performance Project. Being able to attend and perform at a prestigious festival with great support from staff at the Roundhouse and meeting the people who I continue to collaborate with today".

"We rehearse in the hub most weeks, and seeing the project I worked on and a world that had just been alive in my head become a place that others inhabit and a professional piece of theatre has been amazing."

"Organising the first Turning Point Festival in 2010. I have never been so empowered to create something special, and the new friends we all made have impacted us for life."
