Snapshots from the opening night - Roundhouse - Celebrating 50 Years

SNAPSHOTS FROM THE OPENING NIGHT

15 October 1966

It was 15 October 1966. People queued down Chalk Farm Road to get into the Roundhouse and the atmosphere was electric. That night saw Pink Floyd play for the first time and the launch of a radical new publication, International Times. Adam Ritchie’s images give us a glimpse of what it was like.
